Women entrepreneurs in the program were taught how to use a computer and digital marketing. After they received communication gadgets laptops, printers, modems, and data.
Mmê Re Ka Thusa Trust Fund’s provincial manager Mrs. Gladys Motshele explains the purpose of the program:
The purpose of this program is women’s entrepreneur’s economic empowerment.
Empowering a woman – is empowering a nation!

The digital literacy program is helping women entrepreneurs have the skills needed to live, learn, and work in a society where communication and access to information are increasingly through digital technologies like internet platforms, social media, and mobile devices.
Digital transformation offers unique opportunities for entrepreneurial women and opens them up to a digital world, innovative business ideas, and growth opportunities are within their grasp.
The opportunities provided by technology and ICTs for women entrepreneurs are in digital commerce, digital services, and other novel entrepreneurial opportunities that will continue to unfold.
For this reason, we could not let the Northern Cape Women Entrepreneurs be left behind.
It is therefore vital that access to ICTs is provided to women to ensure that digital solutions and the efficiencies they provide enable women to thrive in their micro, small, and/or medium-sized entrepreneurial ventures.

The keynote address was done by the JTG Executive District Mayor Pulane Mogatle ” Do not always wait for free things empower yourself and grab every opportunity that comes your way”
The JTG Women Entrepreneur Digital Literacy program sponsors are Assmang Khumani Mine and SEDA.
