2018 Awards Winners Rock Solid

As part of celebrating the centenary of  Mama Albertina Sisulu, we have themed this year’s event “Rock Solid 2018”.

This is an inspiring moment in our annual calendar.

We recognize and acknowledge women who are contributing meaningfully to the economic growth and development of both our province and country.

The Mme Re Ka Thusa Trust Fund’s Rock Solid awards took place on the 30TH August 2018. The gala at the Mittah Seperepere Convention Centre in Kimberley, Northern Cape.

For 2018 there will still be six categories with three winners per category, derived from 93 potential winners.

We are extremely  excited at the level of interest shown, which is evident in the number of entries and the high calibre of entries, all of whom understand  that in order to attain excellence and to perform in ways that can be compared to other best practices and standards, one has to put oneself up for the scrutiny of one’s peers.

As a means to encourage further development, a skills workshop will also be held for different aspects of business.

Our province remain committed to continuously  recognizing and strengthening efforts to empower women.

There is a need to ensure that we enhance the capacity of women in business to improve their services and to realize the vision of a better life for all.

We celebrate women in various business ventures whose performance excels in terms of innovation and value for money, and we believe everyone here is a winner in their own right.

Through these awards, we are encouraging a culture that recognises supports and rewards business excellence.

We acknowledge our partners from the private sector:.

This is an excellent example of a Public-Private Partnership that shows how government and the private sector can work together for the good of all South Africans.
