It is my distinct pleasure to welcome you to the 2nd Mme Re Ka Thusa, Conference and Awards, themed Women Moving Mountains aimed at celebrating and supporting local businesswomen in the Northern Cape Province.

The Mme Re Ka Thusa Trust was established in 2006 with the aim to assist previously disadvantaged women to expand and grow their businesses.
It is an essential vehicle that is designed to assist women in realising their full business potential and in turn allowing them to
contribute meaningfully to the economic growth and development of the country.
As government, we remain mindful of our role in continuing to assist and enable the empowerment of women in business and economic empowerment initiatives, together with our partners.
Following on from the inaugural Strike a Rock event, the 2017 Women Moving Mountains Conference and Awards presents a unique opportunity to network with fellow peers, improve women’s access to capital and markets, build women’s capacities and skills and support the rise of women leaders in both the public and private sectors.
Thank you to our sponsors
